Islamic Information Center of Dar-us-Salaam Print

The Islamic Information Center is the outreach center of Dar-us-Salaam, and is dedicated to providing accurate information about Islam to all.

We approach this goal via three main avenues:

  1. Serving the local community as a source of information about Islam and engaging in healthy, respectful dialogue
  2. Engaging Muslims and non-Muslims via constructive activities in order to break down stereotypes and increase mutual understanding
  3. Providing classes and full-day workshops on various areas of Islam to those seeking deeper knowledge

Some of our activities include:

  • •  Responding to questions about Islam asked by those curious about Islam throughout the United States, and worldwide.
  • •  Providing free English-language Qurans and informational literature about Islam, upon request.
  • •  Providing welcome packets to those who visit Al Huda School.
  • •  Arranging speakers for area schools, universities and civic organizations.
  • •  Participating in community service projects
  • •  Conducting classes and workshops throughout the year on a variety of Islamic topics.
